A small group of experts researching hydrological issues in agroforestry systems met for the third time on 4th February 2025.
The scientists and consultants from
– the Justus Liebig University Giessen (DFG research group FORMULA, https://www.uni-giessen.de/formula, MODEMA https://agroforst-info.de/modema/, Agroforestry Systems Hesse II, https://www.uni-giessen.de/de/fbz/fb09/forschung/zentrenundprojekte/agroforst/forschungsprojekte/afh2),
– the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences and the Bavarian State Research Centre for Agriculture (AgroMEDA project, https://www.hswt.de/forschung/projekt/2317-agromeda),
– the consultancy TRIEBWERK – Regenerative Agriculture and Agroforestry (https://www.triebwerk-landwirtschaft.de/) and
– the Institute for Applied Material Flow Management IfaS (Trier University of Applied Sciences) and the Saarland University of Applied Sciences (AFaktive and AGROflow projects, https://afaktive.stoffstrom.org/, https://agroflow.stoffstrom.org/)
have been meeting regularly since mid-2024 to discuss measurement methods, current developments in projects and in practice as well as synergies between the respective projects.
